Ghana

Ghana

Ghana is a country in West Africa. It is situated on the coast of the Gulf of Guinea. Although relatively small in area and population, Ghana is one of the leading countries of Africa, partly because of its considerable natural wealth and partly because it was the first black African country south of the Sahara to achieve independence from colonial rule. It is known for lush forests, diverse animal life, and miles of sandy beaches along a picturesque coast. Ghana is celebrated for its rich history and as a fascinating repository of cultural heritage. Ghanaian food is a mix of indigenous flavours and outside influences including European and Indian. Street food is also a big part of Ghanaian culture.

Ghana is dotted with a number of tourist attractions and activities sure to keep your vacation entertaining some of which are Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, Bojo Beach, Aburi Botanical Gardens, National Museum of Ghana, W.E.B. Dubois Center, Labadi Pleasure Beach, Makola Market, Cathedral Church of the Most Holy Trinity, Coco Beach, The National Theatre of Ghana, and Academy for African Music and Arts.
